Proactive Crime Prevention Through Environmental Design (CPTED)
Rather than reacting after a crime occurs, we must eliminate vulnerabilities in our neighborhoods. I will audit and upgrade street lighting, clear sightlines along public trails, and eliminate dark spots near residential parks and commercial plazas to deter auto thefts, break-ins, and property damage.
Strengthening Safe City Mississauga & Neighbourhood Watch
Volunteers are our first line of defense. I will provide direct municipal support to Safe City Mississauga’s team leads and watch members by streamlining the installation of official Neighbourhood Watch street signage, hosting local safety town halls, and expanding adoption of real-time community reporting tools like the SafeCityApp
